    Doug Austin recently interviewed LTC4 members Janice Jaco and Brandye Fenn for his blog series. Janice and Brandye were members of a team of litigation support professionals charged with developing the eDiscovery Core Competency (ECC) Learning Plan of LTC4. Over a 21-month period, the team collaborated and created scenario-based training modules to define the core competency standards for attorneys and legal professionals required to measure e-discovery competency.

Vendor Members of LTC4 have privileged access to our core competencies, just like our law firm members. Approval of a set of assessments by our certification pod is only granted after a thorough review and confirms that the Vendor Member’s assessments effectively evaluate performance in the skills of the core competencies.

    Today at ILTACON 2016, LTC4 announced the official release to its members of its much anticipated eDiscovery/eDisclosure Core Competency (ECC) Learning Plan following the peer review announced at LegalTech earlier in the year.  Designed to assess legal professionals’ understanding of eDiscovery, the LTC4 ECC Learning Plan is a competency curriculum created by the LTC4 ECC Learning Pod, a team of U.S. and U.K. based eDiscovery thought leaders.
